A student of life, I have devoted much of my adult years to advanced study of the nature and art of healing, which has included both in-depth training and application of therapies that focus on restoring health to the physical body as well as personal and professional exploration of the energetic and spiritual principles that govern true and lasting vitality and transformation on all levels of our being. It is this deeper healing that I find most fascinating and compelling, and it is this that I believe our world is calling for in each of us individually as well as collectively. My deep hope is that I might be of some good use in the world at this time, to help support a re-knitting of the spiritual and the physical, the body and the soul, the earth and the human, and our most inner essence with our truest and most honest outward life expression. To heal, we need to know our wholeness in a deep and embodied way, and it is my joy to support people in the healing and whole-ing of their body and soul.
I am a daughter of the Great Plains and wide open prairies, though I currently reside amongst the forested lands of the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It was my own health crisis in the mid 2000s that began my exploration into so-called ‘alternative’ methods of healing, which ultimately led to both a physical healing of my body as well as a decision to change careers and pursue a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine. My additional trainings include post-graduate work in the hands-on techniques of craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and Chi Nei Tsang, applications of functional medicine with the IFM institute, wilderness guide and rites-of-passage facilitation training with the School of Lost Borders, energetic and shamanic medicine from the lineage of Alberto Villoldo and the Four Winds Society, and advanced study of botanical medicine and homeopathy. Most recently, I have completed a 3 year program in Body Psychotherapy utilizing the model of Core Energetics with the Seattle School of Body Psychotherapy.
While I have worked in clinical practice as a naturopathic doctor, I have also used my education and training to step into roles as a group facilitator for neurofeedback intensives, a guide for transformational change, and a mentor for women seeking a more embodied way of living.

Our physical bodies are the vehicle through which we experience the whole of our life, through which we express ourselves, carry out our life purpose, and grow, change, and spiritually evolve. Our bodies are innately intelligent, complex biological systems that respond to both physical inputs as well as energetic information. Sometimes our physical symptoms point to a non-physical origin, that is, our bodies can carry the imprint of un-metabolized psychological pain, trauma and troubling life experiences.
Hands-on therapies can be immensely helpful in treating physical dysfunctions as well as supporting the processing and release of trauma, improve communication among the nervous system and the rest of the body, liberate life energy, and enhance overall healing. If you have never received this type of therapy, it may be a missing piece to experiencing more optimal health!
